Senator Bernie Sanders has put out a call to action. On January 15th, activists all around the country will hold rallies to stand up against the proposed Congressional cuts this upcoming session. Republicans want to to repeal the ACA, privatize Medicare, make massive cuts to Medicaid, increase prescription drug prices and defund Planned Parenthood. Senator Sanders is encouraging us to stand up and fight for healthcare as a right, not a privilege.
Here in Dallas, Democratic Socialists of America- North Texas will be hosting a rally that folks in the DFW area (or beyond) are encouraged to attend.
