The candidates for DNC Chair are coming to speak to the State Democratic Executive Committee’s quarterly meeting this Saturday in Austin. That list of candidates includes Raymond Buckley, Jamie Harrison, Keith Ellison and Tom Perez who finally announced his bid Thursday after weeks of rumors.
According to a Facebook event page hosted by James Lee, the Chairman of the Democratic Hispanic Caucus, “all Democrats are welcome. Space is limited.” Links to the candidates’ Facebook pages and a poll where you can say who you’d like to see as DNC Chair can also be found on the event page.
The event will be in Austin at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol, 701 E 11th Street. The SDEC meeting begins at 1:30 with candidates said to speak around 2:30.
