We’re sitting down with state Reps. Stan Lambert and Drew Springer in Abilene for a live conversation, moderated by Texas Tribune multimedia reporter Alana Rocha.
Lambert, R-Abilene, has represented House District 71 since 2017. He is a member of the House Energy Resources and Defense & Veterans’ Affairs committees and sits on the Sunset Advisory Commission. Previously, Lambert served as athletic director of Abilene Christian University after a long career in local banking.
Springer, R-Muenster, has represented House District 68 since 2013. He serves as vice chairman of the House County Affairs Committee and sits on the House Redistricting and Ways & Means committees. Previously, Springer worked as an accountant and president for a Texas railcar company and managed agricultural futures at his father’s financial services company.
